PASION TROPICAL IS THE ONLY GAY RESORT IN FRONT OF THE OCEAN IN GRAN CANARIA and is built in a unique village-style with round houses. The Pasion Tropical complex has been open since 1998 and was totally renovated in 2008 followed by a face lift in 2009 with the addition of a chill out area in the terrace and alcova beds overlooking the ocean.
It is located in the greenest, most beautiful and quiet neighbourhood of Playa del Ingles, San Agustin, and it is only 20 meters from the beach. Pasion Tropical is the the only exclusively gay complex that is on the sea in Playa del Ingles.
Pasion Tropical’s location is the area where the first five star hotels of the island have been built and it is therefore perfectly served by public transport such as buses and taxis. It is also perfectly located and restaurants, pizzerias and supermarkets are all within a 200 mts distance of the complex.
Guests will enjoy the intimacy and quietness of the resort, relaxing and having fun at the side of our swimming-pool, in ther open-air Jacuzzi, immersed in the lush vegetation of the tropical gardens, sipping a drink at the bar or keeping fit in the open air gym.
One of Pasion Tropical's unique selling points is the 180 sq.mts. panoramic sun terrace with splendid view on the ocean.
Continental buffet breakfast is served till late in the morning under a gazebo in the garden which is accompanied by the sea breeze and the sound of falling water from the fountain. This is available for only £5.50 a day per person.
The Pasion tropical apartments have been refurbished in pure tropical style with pieces of handcrafted furniture coming from Indonesia, India and the best artisans in Italy and Spain. Available accomodation is a studio that sleeps up to 2 people or an apartment which can sleep up to 3 people (although not recommended) All have private satellite television. Apartments are made of a bedroom containign two beds, a full living room, bathroom and separate kitchen. Studios, perfect for singles and “sporty” couples, consist of a large sleeping room with fully equipped kitchenette, and a wide bathroom. Being a studio there is no living room but still have satellite television, a dining table for two and may be located upstairs or downstairs and have either a sea view or a private terrace.
Pasion tropical is only five minutes away by taxi or bus from Playa’s nightlife, commercial centres as well as from the infamous Maspalomas dunes and gay beach. The complex is also only a short ride away from the Las Palmas airport.
Pasion Tropical is specially recommended for people looking for a quiet and exotic atmosphere and the relaxed elegance typical of a tropical island.
