Birdcage Boutique Resort
The Birdcage Resort is the only Gay Boutique Hotel in Gran Canaria. Centrally located in Playa del Ingles, it is siutated close to the Yumbo Centre and only 700 meters from the beach.
This gay men only resort oozes charm and comfort and on arrival you’ll soon realise that you are staying at an exclusive resort which has been individually decorated to a designers spec and where staff offer first-class personal service. This Gay Boutique Hotel doesn’t just offer you a room for a night – it offers you a lifestyle!
The 4 garden Suites (aprox 45sq meters) and the Junior Suites (approx 35sq meters) have two rooms which are complete with all the equipment you would expect from a Boutique Property. Each suite has its own terrace and garden, equipped with teakwood furniture and deck chair. A bathroom completes the package with an ample sized bath tub, rain shower, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, bath robe and slippers. The beds in the bedroom offer you first-class mattresses and cozy feather beds.
All rooms have flat screen television, satelite television, DVD player with free movie rental, safe, free w-lan internet access, coffee and tea maker and a mini bar.
The deluxe rooms (aprox 21sq meters) have the same equipment except a bath tub.
Awaiting you on the terrace and bodega every morning until midday is a hearty breakfast and a wide range of delectable dishes. Diverse warm and cold meals, fruit, yoghurt and museli etc satify your appetite! Juices, tea and coffee as well as sparking wine invite you to start your day, the gay way!
Room service is six times weekly, towels will be changed daily and the bedclothes twice weekly.
The Birdcage Resort is set amongst a tropical garden where you will find a swimming pool, whirlpool and enough space for sunbathing and relaxing on the exclusive cushioned deck chairs or laying in the hammock. Day dream listening to the ambient background music or dive into pool where pool towels are available free of charge for guests. There is no dress code – this means that nudism is allowed.
As you’d expect from a Gay Boutique Hotel, a beauty team offers massages, manicures, pedicures, hair styling and much, much more in their massage temple – or even in the comfort of you own suite. Treatments are payable locally.
The resort also features a lounge area which becomes the heart of the resort!
During the day it, take advantage of the luxurious surroundings to play a game or read a book – or even make use of the computer that is freely available. In the afternoon, tea and coffee is served in the lounge and at night, staff serve cocktails giving you the perfect start to a night out on the tiles in Gay Gran Canaria!
